Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs)
If you are 70½ or older, you can donate up to $100,000 directly from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA) to a qualified charity like PBS Utah without it counting as taxable income. This can lower your annual income level and possibly reduce your Medicare premiums and taxes on Social Security income.
Simply direct a charitable distribution to PBS Utah at 101 South Wasatch Drive, SLC, Utah, 84112. Please include your name and address with your gift so we can send you a tax receipt. You can also notify us of your donation by contacting Ja’Naye Payne at jpayne@pbsutah.org or 801-581-3227.
*Please consult your financial advisor regarding the limitations on receiving member or giving club benefits.
Grants from Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs)

Cryptocurrency
PBS Utah is unable to accept cryptocurrency at this time. If you are interested in making a gift using cryptocurrency, consider working with a Donor-Advised Fund. A Donor-Advised Fund may accept gifts of cryptocurrency and, in turn, allow donors to recommend allocating donated assets to a qualified public charity (such as PBS Utah).
