Wild Old Bunch: The Original Skiing Posse
Wild Old Bunch of Alta Ski Area in Little Cottonwood Canyon is a collection of senior skiers ranging in age from 50 all the way up to 102-years-old. They started skiing Alta in the 1970s and are still going strong today. The group boasts 100 members who come from all over the United States as well as Canada, Europe and Australia. Their love of skiing binds them together.
Utah Black History on Wheels
The Utah Black History Museum is a project of Black Lives Matter Utah dedicated to spotlighting Black history in the state. The mobile exhibit travels around the state visiting schools, festivals, and other events to help educate the Utah community about the contributions Black people have made since Utah's founding, as well as the challenges they have overcome throughout Utah's history.
James Fain, Rodeo Photographer
From small towns to the capital city, rodeo is part of Utah's culture and history. Frame by frame, Utah's most prolific rodeo photographer, James Fain, has been documenting that history for over 60 years. He took his last professional rodeo photos in August of 2022 and was recognized for his work by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association for his important contribution.
