Missy's Pet Paintings

• Small canvas
• Craft paints
• Zip-lock bag (big enough for the canvas to fit inside)
• A treat your pet likes
• Your pet

1. Prepare your canvas by squeezing small blobs of different colored craft paint onto it.
2. Carefully put the canvas into your Zip-lock bag and seal the bag tightly.
3. Lay the bag with canvas on the ground.
4. Sprinkle/squeeze/place a treat your pet likes on top.
5. Call your pet over to “paint.”
6. As your pet eats the treats, place more treats on the canvas. Your pets paws and tongue will smoosh the paint around on the canvas creating a “painting.”
7. Once the paint is moved around the canvas as much as you like, carefully remove the canvas from the plastic bag.
8. Let the paint dry.

Now you have a piece of artwork your pet created just for you! Isn’t that fun!? If you want to repeat the process, you may. Or you can paint the canvas white again and start over. Be creative and have fun!
