Missy's Cornucopia

Email share

Hi! My name is Missy. I’m an artist and a guest blogger here at PBS Utah. Thanksgiving is swiftly approaching and I thought it would be fun to learn about and do an arts and crafts project involving one of the symbols of Thanksgiving: the cornucopia. A cornucopia is a “horn of plenty.” It isn’t a real horn (like the musical instrument), but it’s kind of shaped that way. It symbolizes having an abundance or more than enough to have and share.

Doesn’t your cornucopia look great filled with delicious foods? You can hang it on your fridge or in your bedroom. Be creative and have fun!
