Howdy! Guest blogger and artist Missy, back again with a fun outdoor craft project. Frisbee is one of those games that is simple to learn, easy to take anywhere, relaxing, and enjoyable. All you have to have are two people and a bit of space outside… and a Frisbee!
Make your own Frisbee out of these supplies you already have on hand!
Supplies
- 2 Paper Plates
- Scissors
- Pencil
- A Cup
- Liquid Glue
- Markers
Instructions
- Place your cup upside down in the middle of one plate.
- Use your pencil to trace around the rim of the cup.
- With the help of a grownup, us the scissors to punch a small hole in the circle and cut along the pencil line to remove the middle of the plate.
- Use your first plate as a template to trace another circle on the second plate.
- Cut out the circle exactly like you did on the first plate.
- Turn your plate upside down and carefully decorate them using your markers.
- We decorated our paper plate like a Mandala. Checkout this video on creating a Mandala.
- Place one plate face up and squeeze out a line of glue all the way around the rim of the plate.
- Place your second plate upside down, matched up rim to rim. The cut out circles should line up, and there should be a hollow space between the plates.
- Let the glue dry.
- Play Frisbee!
You can use your Frisbee to play simple throw-and-catch games between two or more people. You can also set up some plastic bottles or other things you find in your recycling bin and throw your Frisbee at them to try and knock them down. Outside is the place to play with Frisbees, so get out in your backyard and have some fun!
