Ride Along On The Pea Harvest

We met Farmer Luke and the folks at Petersen Family Farms in South Jordan, Utah while working on a piece that explains the benefits of a CSA – Customer Supported Agriculture. They met us early one morning to show us a pea harvest.

In addition to helping us sort through the ins and outs of Community Supported Agriculture, they let us get some awesome footage of their older-than-vintage pea harvesting machine. We had no idea what went into harvesting and automatically stripping the pods from peas. Here's a quick look.
