PBS Utah announced that four programs were nominated as finalists for the 46th Rocky Mountain Emmy Awards. The nominations come of significance as entries surpassed a record number this year.
The Southwest chapter serves Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, and Southeastern California as part of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, an organization dedicated to excellence in television by honoring exceptional work through the prestigious Emmy® Award. The association represents all disciplines of the industry, serving to advance the art and science of television.
"It's thrilling to see our production team honored with these nominations, especially given the number of entries submitted this year,” said Station Manager James Davie. “It's a reflection of the quality of their work and dedication to PBS Utah's mission to provide enriching, entertaining, and informative programming that fosters a deeper understanding of our world."
As the sole PBS station in the state, PBS Utah works to provide the people of Utah and surrounding areas with relevant programming and services while upholding core values of independence, inclusion, integrity, education, and innovation.
